The whole working sessionThe whole working sessionustify;">At the working session, Deputy Minister Linh warmly welcomed the Dutch Deputy Minister Marten van den Berg to work and visit at MoC and expressed the Dutch Government’s concerns and supports to MoC in implementing many important projects, including the Mekong Delta Water Supply Project.
Regarding to cooperation in building smart cities in Vietnam, at the end of 2017, the MoC had some working sessions with the Dutch functional authorities and readily facilitated for the Dutch enterprises and organizations to pilot build smart cities in suitable locations.

Deputy Minister Phan Thi My Linh hoped the Dutch to continually support the MoC in developing standards, criterias, management and operation mechanism of smart cities in the future, as well as help Vietnam to develop airport city master plan.
Speaking at the working session, the Dutch Deputy Minister affirmed that “Vietnam is always one of the priority countries in the development of economic relations of the Dutch.

Mr Marten van den Berg said, “The Dutch is ready to support Vietnam in building airport cities and smart cities as well as improving water supply capacity and management capacity for technical staffs of water supply companies in Vietnam”.
In the March/ 2018, the Dutch will coopearate with the MoC to organize the seminar on developing smart cities in Vietnam with the such optimal solutions.
